Voluntary Action Center
Our goal is to mobilize the caring power of the community through volunteerism. From individual tutoring opportunities to group neighborhood beautification projects, we have hundreds of volunteer opportunities available. No matter what experience or time you have to give, there are many ways to make a significant impact in the community. By volunteering, you are playing a role in solving important community problems and enabling United Way and our community partners to accomplish more.
Our Goals
- Provide a one-stop shop for volunteers to find opportunities for involvement
- Match interest of volunteers to community needs and the work of United Way
- Engage volunteers from all aspects of the community, including students
- Ensure volunteer satisfaction
The core of our work revolves around the individual relationships that we build with the volunteer to ensure that a meaningful experience was created.
