You are here

On August 26, 2017, at 3:00 a.m. local time, Hurricane Harvey made landfall near Rockport, Texas, as a Category 4 hurricane.  As of Sunday, August 27, 2017, the storm has stalled, causing catastrophic flooding across much of southeastern Texas.  This is a far-reaching disaster, affecting at least 20 United Ways in Texas and Louisiana and our neighbors living in those areas.

United Way's free information hotline 211 is still operating in these areas and if you need assistance you can still utilize 211.

To help our neighbors in need in Texas, donations can be directed to United Ways of Texas and to assist those in Louisiana, donation can be made directly to Louisiana Association of United Ways.

We will continue to update this page with information on how you can help those impacted by the storm.
