Millward Brown Community Garden Thrives in Bridgeport!

Now one month since Millward Brown employee volunteers came out in droves to put their hearts, souls and muscle into creating a community garden for residents of the Marina Village neighborhood in Bridgeport, they have a chance to witness the fruits (or veggies!) of their labors!  Residents laid claim to their plots, wrote their names on the wooden boxes, and went to work planting and nurturing a variety of summer vegetables.  A recent visit to the garden by United Way staff members revealed a thriving, well-tended garden!

Millward Brown Employees Make Gardens Grow in Bridgeport

120 Employees of Millward Brown volunteered to help create a Community Garden to be enjoyed by residents of Marina Village.  The overwhelming feeling of the volunteers was that helping out in the community is a really rewarding experience.  Volunteers found the experience to be completely different than their day to day activities at the global marketing firm.  The employees were polled and they found that community engagement was top on the list of opportunities important to the company.  Thanks to the collaboration of United Way,
